What Causes Severe Fatigue Along With Weight Gain And Low Grade Fever?

Three months ago I seen my dr about me having severe fatigue, weight gain, low grade fever, muscle pain and a few other symptoms. She had me go in for a thyroid ultrasound because my thyroid felt enlarged. The ultrasound showed a lesion. Also some blood work should a possible slight infection. She advised me to come back in 6 months for another ultrasound to see what the lesion was doing. Well I ve continued with severe fatigue, headaches, muscle pain going into my joints, weight gain. I took out 80% of gluten out of my diet and still not helping. I did make an appointment with and endocrinology. Thanks a ton

Hi,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It looks like you have hypothyroidism. You said your doctor advised ultrasound of thyroid but you didn't mentioned whether your thyroid functions tests were done or not. If not, then I would advise to get the tests done.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Take care.
