What Causes Severe Fatigue And Difficulty In Walking?

I have been suffering from severe fatigue, numbness, eye pain, blurred vision for several weeks. I was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting MS in 2004, then in 2006 a different dr said he thought I had Fibromyalgia. Then in 2010 a Neurologist said it Was Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis. When symptoms resumed in 2013, a neurologist said it was Psychiatric. Now I am having difficulty walking and the doctors still can t agree.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Why are you not able to walk? Relapsing and remitting type of multiple sclerosis (MS) may lead to recovery from each attack, he may loss little power.

It may be due to deconditioning of the muscles results from lack of use. Often in MS, due to fatigue, pain, imbalance, or other symptoms, a person's overall activity level is reduced.

Damage to the nerve fibers (demyelination) in the spinal cord and brain that stimulate the muscles can also cause weakness.

Please consult your neurophysician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care.
