My husband goes into extreme fatigue (seizure?) in the afternoon on a regular basis, often 2 to 3 times a week. If he does not go into extreme fatigue, he goes into fatigue on a lesser level every day after 12 noon. His symptoms are severe weakness, glassy eyes, red faced, confusion, cannot comprehend, cannot walk at all or needs assistance if he can get up on his feet, has no memory of it the next day, does not remember anything talked about after he comes out of it. He does not recover totally until the next morning. He has many times collapsed to the floor and laid there for 2 to 3 hours before he can crawl or get up. He has fallen down the steps twice. If he is able to walk at all, he staggers and holds onto the wall or furniture and once he gets to a chair he collapses into it. I have discussed this with his heart doctor, his general physician and I get nowhere getting a diagnosis and treatment. They have not ordered any sort of tests for this or anything. They just don t know and they aren t telling us how to get answers and treatment. Who and what type specialist do I take my husband to for answers and treatment? I don t know what to do.
