What Causes Severe Fatigue, Excessive Thirst And Headache During Early Pregnancy?
Hello, I am in my first trimester of pregnancy and am experiencing symptoms I did not with my first two. I am so incredibly thirsty but not going to the bathroom any more then usual. My fatigue is incredible some days I cant even open my eyes its kinda scary. Also, I have a headache that will not go away it's been 3 days now. Is this normal?
There are several conditions that can cause these symptoms but they may also be normal in a later pregnancy, as we get older pregnancy can be a little more difficult. However there is an increased risk of developing glucose intolerance issues (like diabetes) or high blood pressure issues in pregnancy, even in early pregnancy. I would recommend discussing these symptoms with your obstetric provider because they might be normal but they might also be a signal of a condition debuting in pregnancy like diabetes or high blood pressure.
