What Causes Severe Fatigue, Muscle, Joint Pain, Swollen Legs And Chest Pain?

I am a 34 year old diabetic male. I was just released from the hospital for Keto acidosis. Still 4 weeks later have extreme fatigue, along with extreme muscle and joint pain. swelling of legs, feet, and ankles at times. Along with chest pains. This has been going on for months now. My echocardiogram came back good and blood work they have done so far is all good as well. Any ideas of where I can look. Lymes disease also has been ruled out along with thyroid issues.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The severe muscle pain, joint pain, swollen legs and chest pain in condition after discharge from diabetes keto acidosis is suggestive of either kidney function disturbances, electrolyte changes of potassium or sodium, venous return issues or diabetic neuropathy or vasculopathy induced peripheral changes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
