What Causes Severe Flank Pain While Suffering From Diabetes?
I have extreme pain in the flank region in the morning with very strong nausea that lasts all day. the flank pain subsides after about 6 hours. I have lost 15 pounds in three weeks and I cant eat properly, I cant figure out what s wrong and I m diabetic and I am at a loss as to what s wrong. where do I go to find help?

The cause of flank pain in a diabetic patient is likely due to infection of kidney. However, sometime sit can also be due to other conditions like tumor. I will advise you to undergo an ultrasonography which can diagnose the cause of flank pain.
