Might seem silly, but my 6 1/2 week old seems pretty gassy. I ve been having good luck, usually right before changing him, by pinning his knees to his chest and alongside his ribs to get 3-5 really good toots! It does seem to mellow him, and I predict that it saves me from a mid-change mishap. But is there anything I m missing thay might be messing with his insides from me doing that?
Hi...Can understand your concern...As per your query about having frequent flatulence in your baby who is around 6 weeks is that flatulence and frequent bowel movement is very common in infants upto 3-4 months due to fast motility in GI tract as well the digestive system is in developing stage..you should avoid top feedings..Infants cry due to flatulence related colicy pain ,i suggest you to give colic aid drops which is simethicone to give when required by consulting your pediatrician..I hope the information helps you..Take care..
