What Causes Severe Forehead Pain, Swollen Eyelids And Tremors After An Injury?

Fell asleep ironically on the toilet in the middle of the night. Woke up about 3 inches away from my very hard tile floor. Hit left side of forehead and saw stars. No bump or lump appeared do I thought I must not have hit it as hard as I thought? Head hurt really bad and so did the back of my neck for a few days. Now... 3 months later? I am experiencing some very scary symptoms. They come and go but right now my eyelids are swollen. I can see. Just is annoying. Head hurts horrible and constantly feels like my brain is... Shaking? Please help me as soon as you can. Thank you!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You are suffering from severe forehead pain, swollen eyelids and tremors after an injury. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, your symptoms are indicative of internal injury or blunt trauma. You should get all required blood tests, investigations and imaging tests (X-ray, CT, MRI and biopsy) if required.

You will be treated accordingly. Presently, stay at rest, do not strain unnecessarily. Stay away from addictions if any. You can take analgesics, one SOS when needed to get relieve from inflammation and pain. Tremors after an injury, are indicative of nerve damage or injury, get clinically examined by a Neurologist, get nerve conduction velocity tests done. Get treated at the eeliest. In the meantime, you can take Nerv Up OD, once daily for 10 days.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
