What Causes Severe Gastritis Along With Abdominal Pain Post Choleocystectomy?

I had my gall bladder removed about 6 years ago. I have had 3 gall bladder like episodes after eating chili, tacos and barbecue. Can that be signs of something else? This morning a stomach pain so severe woke me at 4:30 am. I barely made it to the kitchen to take some gasX. I fainted and fell to the kitchen floor. I don t ember much except waiting for the pain to subside. It took about 1/2 hour

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The exact site of pain needs to be known.
Was the gall bladder associated with stones when removed six years ago.
The persistence of stones in the bile duct or the stones left behind in the bile duct can lead to symptoms similar to gall stones.
Thus, I suggest you to consult your surgeon for clinical assessment and relevant investigations - ultrasound and / or CT abdomen to find out the probable cause of abdominal pain.
I the meanwhile, you can take painkillers prescribed by your doctor.

Thanks and take care
