What Causes Severe Groin Pain While Suffering From Bursitis?
Hi. My 91-year-old mother has excruciating groin pain on one side so that she cannot walk. She went to an orthopedist two days ago. He injected it. He diagnosed brysitis. It got a little bit better. This morning she was in so much pain that she cannot walk. She iced it all day, without results.

If she has pain medication then one of these can be used to help reduce her discomfort , anti inflammatory pain medication would be best but this may be too strong on her stomach
Eg naproxen, ibuprofen, cataflam
She would need to be reviewed by her doctor.
