What Causes Severe Hair Fall While Suffering From Anemia?

I have just spent 2 days in the hospital with severe anemia. My hair is thinning. I was given a unit of blood in the hospital. I have a colonoscopy and an endoscopy scheduled. What is the usual cause of anemia and how soon does hair begin to regrow.

I really appreciate your concern, here it is not being given the hemoglobin value, not even mentioned your age and gender these is extremely needed here, some leaking of blood could be there, it may be some blood disorder, chronic infection, hair thinning could be due to this only, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
