What Causes Severe Hair Loss After Being Treated For Typhoid Fever?
Hi!! Same with the other patients here, I experienced also hair loss months after I had my Typhoid fever, to add in my case I was then had a Blood Transfusion because of my Anemic condition. My Diagnosis was Typhoid Hepatitis. As of now I m doing okay-- (indeed next year I may find my self entering Med School :))
Hi typhoidhepatitis is rare complication of thypoid. You have not taken adequate treatment thats why it is not under control. here is your treatment plan. Take ceftriaxone i.v for 3 days. Then take orally tablet of cefixime for 14 days. Take more fruit juice, milk, soup.Protien containing food taken ex.chicken, egg, paneer etc. Avoid high fibre containing diet like cereal, whole pulse. Avoid raw vegetables. Avoid spicy food. Take more water. Take small meal with repeated interval. With this management you will definitely all right.
