What Causes Severe Hair Loss When Diagnosed With Vitamin D Deficiency?
Hello Doctor, I had severe hairfall, on diagnosing found I m low on Vit D level(4%) 6 months back. All other blood tests were normal. Then I took vitamin d3 capsules for a month, one every week as suggested by doctor. Hairfall had reduced then, new hairs started to grow. After 6 months now again hairfall has started. I go out in sun in the morning for walk, I believe I get ample sunlight. Kindly suggest

Correct the vitamin status as malnutrition is a major cause of hair loss.
