What Causes Severe Hair Loss While On Valsartan And Metformin?

I have been taking Valsart and Metformin for several years. In the past 3 years or so my hair has been thinning at a fairly fast rate. Up until that time I had thick, fine hair. Now I have thin, fine hair. I am a 64 year old female. Could either of these meds be causing so much hair loss?

valsartan is associated with hair loss but it is a less frequent side effect. you should get some alternate drug by visiting your physician. and should also take some provitamins for good gair growth and a good protein diet.
