What Causes Severe Hair Loss While Suffering From Thyroid Disorder?
I have multinodular thyroid and am being followed by an endocrinologist. As a person who is always hot and rarely wears more than a light jacket in temps 40 to 30 degrees, I have suddenly begun staying cold, upped the thermostat in home, wear down coat in 40+ temps. Hands and feet stay pretty cold and I have begun to have quite noticeable hair loss. I normally have very thick hair and usually sweat on my head and neck regardless of the temperature. This has totally changed over the past few weeks.
