Hi,

This type of hair fall is not normal. U can have a condition known as alopecia areata, which causes patches of hair to fall. If the skin under the patch is smooth, then its a food sign. This type of alopecia is 90% reversible with steroid injection at the site and is done by almost all dermatologists. So do consult a dermatologist and get overall checkup done to rule out another cause and start treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
