What Causes Severe Hair Loss?
Hello doctor my daughter who is 8yrs old is expereincing severe hair fall suddenly with no obvious reason . Her scalp is also visible at the temporal region and vertex. At present she is on trichoton syrup since 15 days with no improvement.please help her

As per your complain, you have a problem of severe hair loss that may be because of hormonal changes or stress or iron deficiency or other reasons. Check your thyroid hormone level and blood hemoglobin level also. Any recent illness like typhoid may lead to hair loss. Long time dandruff problem also cause this type of symptoms. Consult a skin specialist for further treatment. Start a treatment as per reason behind it.
