What Causes Severe Hallucinations While On Alprazolam?

I am currently having hallucinations on a daily basis. These usually worse at nighttime and consist with a number of what I what refer to as creeps , not men, with hats and sunglasses. They suspend their faces in our tall windows at night and will create various types of snakes spiders and other creatures as a scare tactic for my entertainment, and even I know this a facade but hard to ignore. I am currently on Alprazolam 0.25 mg,1 Tablet nightly that has been some what helpful, however last night I was unable to sleep at all. would appreciate any comment you might have.
