What Causes Severe Headache After Taking Vesicare?

hello, i was diagnosed with OAB 6 weeks ago and was put on Vesicare. it worked fabulously right off but after a week or so my eyes started to have a hard time focusing and in 2 weeks of taking it i had started having bad headaches. my doctor switched me to trospium chloride but it didn t stop my OAB and made my heart palpitate after taking it for 2 weeks so he switched me to myrbetriq. I started taking it two days ago and my OAB is worse then before! the doc told me to take it for 4 weeks and then he would reevaluate my case. is it really going to take 4 weeks for me to have any relief?

Hello,

It is not related to Vesicare. As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
