What Causes Severe Headache And Fatigue Despite Taking Paracetamol?
Hi. It s the fourth day and I can t sleep. It s happened before. It s not me. For the past four days, every morning, I wake up for work, with a big headache. I feel very tired and my body aches. And it s the same again in the evening when I come back from work. When I start work, I feel ok. I have been taking paracetamols whenever I have an headache. In the night I wake up 1-2 times and again I feel very tired and can t sleep. I wake up in very early in the morning at like 5:00am and I get a bad throbbing headache. Do I need to take sleeping pills? Why is this happening to me??
Here detail clinical and drug history needs to be elicited...
Your blood pressure also should be checked... If hypertension present than suitable antihypertensive drug prescribed
Hypoglycemia, irregular meal, stress, lack of sleep etc might contributory factor for headache
Migraine also should be ruled out by history as headache is throbbing (unilateral throbbing pain with nausea and intolerance to loud noise or light suggestive of migraine)
Here if no improvement than better to do MRI to rule out underlying organic cause if present
Take care
Hope your concern solved
