General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
One sided throbbing headache that comes and goes leaving you tired can be migraine.
If I were your treating doctor,I recommend,
-Tablet ibuprofen when you have headache.
-Tablet sumatriptan/rizatriptan as maientance dose for minimum 3 months(after ruling out cardiovascular risk factors and under physician's supervision).
-Avoid mental stress.Avoid triggers that start the episode of headache.Try to rest in dark and quiet room when you feel you will get the headache.
If required, certain investigations like CT scan head,MRI scan, blood tests will be necessary.
Thanks.
