What Causes Severe Headache And Sore Throat?
My 21 year old daughter has severe headache and sore throat. Went to a clinic last Sunday. Dr. Said test showed slight trace of mono-like result from blood test. Said just continue with Advil. Is there anything else besides rest,liquids and advil she can do? Shouldn t the headache and sore throat be gone by now?

I understand your concern
Sore throat is mainly due to viral or bacterial infections.
Take following advises:
Tablet azithromycine
Continue advil
Tablet crocin advance
Gargle with betadine 2%
Proper bed rest
Give plenty of lukewarm water for drink and stem inhalation
use humidifier
Avoid cold beverages.
Give healthy diet with vitamin supplements
