What Causes Severe Headache Behind Ear?
my husband is experiencing severe headaches that originate behind his left ear. He is a welder so when he moves his head down & turns it, he says the pain is so bad that sometimes he has to stop and sit down. It is also causing him to not sleep. He has been treated for ear infection and now has to take about 4 migraine aspirin at a time to just function. Any Ideas?

As per my clinical experience, severe pain behind ear with a recent history of treatment for ear infection, indicates residual edema or inflammatory changes inside the middle or inner ear, drum. He must be presented to his treating ENT specialist for further care without delay.
