What Causes Severe Headache, Heaviness In Eyes And Numbness In Lips After Delivery?

my daughter (she is an adult) has had a bad headache from the base of her neck up, her eyes feel very heavy, she is not real coherent, her lips are numb, and she is hazy and spacy. She had a baby 2 months ago, and just about finished her first month of birth control pills. she fell 3 times to day and is not very safe on her feet with the baby.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your daughter seems to have either raised blood pressure OR might be in ber baby blues (sort of psychological confusion/depression).

Please let her be free from the baby for the while &assist her while she breastfeeds.

Please get her examined by a physician.&get her antihypertensives OR psychological counseling as per need.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
