What Causes Severe Headache, Loss Of Appetite And Rashes On The Chest Area?
12 year old female who started with severe headache on Friday. Saturday she started a fever of 104 °F, but ibu helps keep it down, she s been laying in bed with loss of appetite, loss of needing to Urinate or Pass a bowl movement. She has also lost her voice and cannot move at all, as she has tried. She isnt coughing or have a runny nose. Today is day 6 and her fever has gone away without the help of medicine and she has finally been able to get up out of bed but she has a rash all over her chest and stomachs area.
The rash after 5 days of fever and throat discomfort indicates most likely post streptococcal infectionmeasles. As the fever is gone, only supportive care with plenty of liquids and diet, multi vitamins will help to recover her to best way.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
