What Causes Severe Headache While On Antibiotics For Diverticulitis?

Just beginning to get over a bad attack of diverticulitis. Still have five days of antibiotics to take, but am starting to have bad headaches from not eating/drinking. Is there anything I can have at this point that will not ascorbate my condition or hinder my healing?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have skinny legs . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to certain reasons like cluster headache , migraine , tension headache or sinusitis. But in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are probably due to side effects of medicine. I would suggest you to consult doctor who prescribe this medicine . Doctor may alter the dose or may prescribe substitute. Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for neurological reasons , who may prescribe medicine like vasograine , betablockers along with antidepressants . For now take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
