What Causes Severe Headaches Along With Light Headedness And Nausea?
Should I see a dr...I have had a headache for almost a week that seems better with rest and worse with exercise. started out with a feeling of lighheadness after shoveling snow and now hurts from back of head up to the forehead. Still have feeling of lightheadedness some and had some nauseous feelings too but the nauseous seems better now after chewing gum and burping sometimes. any ideas of what is causing this? I have taken ibuprofen with little help. I do take an antidepressant but I don t really think it s as effective as it used to be.
In my opinion you should go checking of blood pressure and other tests like blood sugar and hemoglobin or CBC.
Nausea which relieve on burping might be related to stomach hyperacidity or gastritis.
I would advise you to take anti acidity medicine like pantoprazole or ranitidine with antacids because ibuprofen alone will aggravate the hyperacidity.
Please write back to me with your age, relevant medical history like diabetes, since how long you are having this problem? So that I will be able to tell you more accurately Best wishes
