What Causes Severe Headaches Radiating To The Neck Along With Chronic Cough?

I have a bad head ach that goes accross the top of my head a down my neck. I don t have bad pains in my chest just down the middle. I am running a fever but don t know how high. I have coughing spells that will make me vomit if I don t get something to drink or take a cough candy. I can t eat very much of anything. I have no energy what so ever. I have had these symptoms since Friday.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe headaches radiating to the neck along with chronic cough . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like cervical spondilysis, stress and anxiety or viral infection . I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor will take history and order blood test to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe anti viral like acyclovir along with anti inflammatory and analgesic . Doctor may also refer you to orthopedic surgeon if problem will be related with cervical spondolysis . For now take proper rest , do light stretching exercises under expert supervision and apply warm compresses to back . Doctor may also refer you to dentist for TMJ problem .
