What Causes Severe Heartburn In A Person With CHF And COPD?
I ve had what feels like severe heartburn for about three hours. I ve taken two baby aspirin and stomach pill I was recently diagnosed with chf and several years ago with COPD. I ate spagetti for lunch and feel like I ate too much but am also having pain in my chest.
The heartburn or severe acidity or burning inside stomach could be either acute gastritis which here could be due to this aspirin tablet.
If you have note taken it with antacids or full stomach means with meal then it is the only reason here of causing heartburn.
You may require antibiotics (quinolones or cephalosporins) with bronchodilators (beta agonists like salbutamol, anticholinergics like ipra tropium bromide) to get relieved from this congestion with continuing simultaneously treatment of COPD otherwise you take any antacid gel like digene or sucralfate gel with tab.pantoprazole or ranitidine.
So,you consult your pulmonologist or treating physician for further treatment.
