General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, the pain seems to be neuromuscular however for reassurance X-rays of lumbar spine should be done to rule out any associated lumbar spondylosis.

The triggering and relieving factors can point out to muscular issues like piriformis syndrome but the professions you explained are more likely to arise sciatica related issues.

Overall an orthopedic surgeon and physiotherapist review should be sought. Meanwhile OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen alongwith muscle relaxants like tizanidine or orphenidine can be helpful. If pain is severe, nerve pain suppressants like gabapentin may be needed. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Regards
