Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 67 year old woman who has developed a hoarseness in my throat. I love to sing and I thought it was from that but it has continued for three months. I was recently diagnosed with Hashimotos and my yeast in my gut it high. I am starting a regiment of no gluten, no sugars that the yeast feeds on. I have been taking synthroid for 40 years. If I control these with better diet and meds, will my hoarseness go away? Thank you.
Your symptoms are mostly suggestive of throat infection for which you can take some antibiotic preferably azithromycin or cefadroxyl after an expert advice along with diominic-dca or wikoryl for hoarseness and soreness. You can take syrup ambrodil-s or syrup bro-zedex for soothing of your throat. Do warm water gargles and take steam inhalation to reduce the congestion or soreness of your throat and take some multivitamin also.
