my niece lives in tijuana and recently had a baby. soon after she was unable to hold objects in her hands and had a terrible cough and fever. She was taken to the hospital and was told that she was anemic and that she had pneumonia. She had a slight fever too. She also lost 25 kilos in just one month since having the baby. SHe has no appetite. The doc sent her home and said that she had postpartum depression and for the family to make sure she eats well. She was never told what was causing her so called anemia either. I have no trust in the doctors in mexico. Since my niece does not have a passport to be able to be seen by a US doctor this is about my only choice. What would cause a perfectly healthy young new mother to become so severly ill right after childbirth. ANy suggestions will be greatly appricitated thank you.
