What Causes Severe Itchiness Around The Breasts Running Down To Inner Thighs?
I have extremely itchy skin from my breasts down to my inner thighs. It started about 2 weeks ago. But when I scratch the bruises that I get are very dark purple and black and blue, but the bruises do not hurt. I am 5 foot 2ins. tall and weigh 122 pounds. This came on very suddenly. I am on HBP medication, the same for 20 years. My doctor also gave me Lodine 400mg. twice a day, but the reactions from this medication was this, but I have been off it for 2 weeks and still have this problem.
These itchiness is due to inflammation due to some infections. Use Miconazole Nitrate 2% Cream for local application where itchy skin around breast and inner thigh area. Take oral course of Tab Fluconazole foe 5-6 days. Rest medicines you can continue as per advised. Meet your primary care doctor to achieve these.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pramod Kokare, General & Family Physician
