What Causes Severe Itchiness In The Eyelid?
I have a itchy inside eyelid. The eye is not red and my eye itself is not itchy. I do have a gritty feeling when I am not wearing my contact license. No discharge, no swelling, no redness of the eye. The inside of my eyelid is a little red. Any suggestions?

This sounds like an early stye--an eyelid infection
For now I suggest using glasses rather than contacts and have your doctor take a look since you may need a course of oral antibiotics
