As per your complain it seems feeling of something moving or wiggling around anus alng with itching can be most probably due to pinworm infection while can also be due to causes like Poor hygiene maintenance, over wiping or cleaning, dryness in the anal area, yeast infection,contact dermatitis or allergic reaction etc.. I would suggest you to consult a Proctologist and get evaluated and a proper diagnosis and treatment of underlying cause can relieve the symptoms.. He can take a swab from the anal area and observe it under microscope and in case of pinworm infection the eggs of the organisms can be found in the swab that can help in confirmation of diagnosis.. At times you need to get a repetition of 2 to 3 tests for confirmation.. In case if pinworm infection is diagnosed you can be advised to take anti-parasitic drugs like Albendazole, Mebendazole, a weekly dose for 2 weeks for complete eradication of infection.. You should also carefully wash your hands before eating or cooking.. Keep your clothings washed on regular basis and also keep the clothings and all personal belongings regularly washed..
