What Causes Severe Itching Along With Bleeding From The Fingertips?

I ve been itching a lot and don t know what I have. Bed bugs were found in my sons bedroom... Far away from my room... Carpet Beetles... A Lot of similar symptoms. And then theirs invisible bugs and possibly LINT BUGS. Whatever I have. Bites? then, borrows inside my skin sometimes leaving a red 1 inch tail. Usually in sets of 3 but lately it s been sporadic. My hands are VERY VERY cracked. My finger tips bleed and hurt with the slightest touch.. I feel like I m crazy and I am becoming paranoid! My 4 kids think I m nuts and don t beleive a thing I say. What do I do? There s to many people saying the same thing on There web sites I go to... I feel lost, alone and helpless!!!

Hi,

Can be mites but needs evaluation. You should consult a skin specialist and get evaluated and it will be advisable to consult when the symptoms are actively present. A clinical examination and if needed a microscopy of the swab from the finger tips can be done for confirmation.

For now, you can apply steroid ointment like Betnovate GM to reduce inflammation and also apply Permethrin lotion. Take anti-allergic like Levocetirizine if there is itching. Do cool compresses over the area. Try avoiding scratching. But a clinical examination is a must to rule out the exact cause.
