What Causes Severe Itching And A Rash On The Vagina?

Hi I have extreme itching prior to my menustral cycle, sometimes accompanied by a rash, keeps me awake for 2-3 hours at a time, I am in perimenupasal stage at present. I am at my wits end for a resolution to end my suffering. Am very tired as a result. Please help

I can understand your concern.
Since you are in perimenopausal age, hormonal imbalance is the likely cause for your symptoms.
Hormonal imbalance in the form of low estrogen and progesterone can cause dryness of vagina. And this dryness causes itching, pain etc.
So better to consult gynecologist and get done clinical examination of vagina.
You will need moisturizer cream and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for the treatment.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
