What Causes Severe Itching And Large Red Rashes On The Back?
I started about two weeks ago my back kept itching so I would rub my back on any thing sometimes I cold not reach it well I said I m going to look and see what is on my back that is causing this. Omg i have red marks the size of a dime on my back I counted at least eight one popped out on my face, that has gone down. I guess what I m asking can it be shingles? I have never had chickenpox. Nothing more has popped out . It dose not itch all the time. But I m worried about the red welts. What dose it sound like to you???

The symptoms can be related to shingles. I suggest using Acyclovir cream for local application. I also suggest using Cetirizine 10 mg to prevent the itching.
