What Causes Severe Itching At Night During Pregnancy?
Hi, I am 36 weeks of pregnant woman...I am suffering from extreme itching...the itching is Very high at night and I couldn t sleep. I went to Doctor and did GPT and GOT test which were 28.2 and 33.1 respectively. I again did the test after 5 days and today I found 23.6 and 26.6. They are with in normal range. Doctor advised me to have Allegra 180 and I am using calamine lotion. But Itching is very high still and some time I couldn t bear it even after medicine. Can you please suggest me what to do ?
Hi Itching and other allergic symptoms are common in some places.
Is there any specific part of the body where you are feeling itchy? Do you scratch there? Is it red and swollen?
Your doctor has prescribed you correct medications, what we can suggest you is to maintain proper hygiene in the itchy part, try washing the area a few times with soap and cold/luke warm water, and apply the ointment whichever has been prescribed to you
Hope to have answered you sufficiently, if you need any additional help, feel free to ask us again
Thanks
