What Causes Severe Itching In The Foot?
My foot keeps itching. It does not stop and drives me crazy. No cut or red mark. No apparent reason for the itching. I took Zyrtec but it does not work. I rub on Cortizone and it does not work. The itch comes from within my body. Also applied ice pack. . . does not work. What else to do???

Hi,
You can combine the cortizone cream with an antifungal cream like miconazole. You can use this twice a day for 7-10 days on the area that is itching. Oral Zyrtec can be used with this local treatment as well. If no improvement with this treatment or any worsening you will need to see a doctor.
