What Causes Severe Itching In The Hips?

Hello. I m 38, female, no health problems. But, recently (few weeks), my hips itch terribly. There is no visible rash. I hope it s simply an allergic reaction to something, but how can I tell for sure. I ve been waiting for it to stop, but I might have to see a doctor. What advice do you have and what other conditions cause hips to itch? Thank you!

It could be a simple eruption.

As a first line management, you can take antihistamines like Pheniramine for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
