What Causes Severe Itching In Vagina?
I am having itching at my vaginal area, I went to doctor he asked if I see any discharge I said no. So he told me it s yeast infection and he prescribed a drug and a vaginal cream for me to use. I also told he I wanted an STD testing which he did. I want to know what else causes itching in the vagina area?

Most common cause of having itching in vagina is yeast infection.
Having some local infection does give rise to itching.
Lack of proper hygiene and not cleaning local part as there might be perspiration, moisture and some vaginal secretion produces irritation.
Apply anti-fungal or triple action cream.
Make a habit of cleaning local part while taking shower.
Keep local hygiene proper particularly during period time.
Ok and take care.
