Severe itching can be due to scabies, contact dermatitis, psoriasis, shingles, reaction to some drugs, etc. Since itching has affected your whole body avoid sex, wear cotton clothes, wash clothes daily, take bath at least 2-3 times a day.
Apply Ascabiol lotion (emulsion) on your entire body after a shower, leave for one hour & thereafter take a bath repeat this after 15 days. In the meantime change your mattress & take care of your hygiene. Apply calamine lotion if required.
Take antihistamines (Fexofenadine or Levocetrizine) once daily for 10 days. Visit ER, get physically examined, get STD tests done to rule out shingles before it gets complicated. Take plenty of water eat vegetarian food.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
