What Causes Severe Itching On The Right Thigh?

Hello, Yesterday around 2:30pm I felt a severe itching sensation on my right thigh, just after 3pm a bruise was forming. At around 6pm the bruise was large and extremely red and dark purple. I am experiencing burning, pain and swelling. I woke this morning to the bruise slightly larger and of a similar colour. I m feeling fatigued, I have no energy and a little sick. Doctors have confirmed I have not been bitten.

I can understand your concern.
Sudden onset burning, Itching, swelling and Redness of skin are suggestive of cellulitis (skin infection).
So consult doctor and get done clinical examination and blood reports for infection.
You will need oral antibiotic, antibiotic cream, glycerin and magnesium sulphate lotion (for edema).
Don't worry, you will be alright.
