What Causes Severe Itching On The Scalp?
My daughter has had an itchy scalp for 2 months but it s not lice, it s not dandruff or any other apparent skin condition. No flakes, no redness just non stop itching. We ve tried several different kinds of shampoo nothing seems to work. Not sure what s left to try, any ideas?

Seborrheic dermatitis can be the result of stress, seasonal changes, fluctuating hormones, or an overgrowth of yeast on the skin.
Dandruff can be caused by a scalp that's too dry, oily hair, and a variety of skin conditions. Other causes of itchy scalp include autoimmune disorders, such as psoriasis.
