What Causes Severe Itching Sensation On My Back Without Any Rashes?
I have a very itchy back with no rash..have tried a number of creams, that the doctor has prescribed for it ,but nothing is relieving the itch the doctor I m seeing has asked all the questions, like washing powders to soap I use haven t changed anything. Have you any other ideas.what this could be plz
Severe itchy back with no rash which failed to treat with a number of creams, could be due to neuropathy (nerve damages). Neurological examination is then recommended to rule it out.
It would be preferable to have a look at your back to evaluate the changes of the skin there and see if skin parasites.
Increased sweating and diabetes should also to consider as possible cause together with liver problems and intestinal parasites. Liver function test is recommended together with a stool examination.
If everything is ok, and nothing organic is found, then, psychiatrist to consult further.
Hope this helps.
