What Causes Severe Knee Pain After An Injury?

Dear sir, from one year ago in injured my right knee, at 1st time knee lock and pain .....then i cannot run more and not walking, and cannot more pressure in my knee........now no lock more but pain and i can t feel more energy in myknee.......and now from 3 week my other left knee also pain and not getting energy.....and i show one orthopedic doctor he give me some medicin (CARTICARE TAB) and he sugest me for surgery ....and MRI test report showing meniscus problem....... for that problme what i have to do can you please give me any advice?

Hello,

Meniscus in knee joint are semi-circular cartilages that provide friction less movement. Any injury to the meniscus need surgical treatment since they lack blood supply and cannot heal on their own.
