Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Severe Knee Pain And Crepitus With History Of Having Removed Cyst From Fingers?
I have a history of reticulated cyst removal on all of my fingers bilaterally. The cysts were painful and came on suddenly. The surgeries were performed a few years ago but now my knees have really been causing a lot of pain with bilateral crepitus and bone on bone. An MRI shows degenerative arthritis. I have chronic neck pain as well. I have always assumed it was my job as a hygienist. Could it be rheumatoid arthritis?
In my knowledge, it seems to be ganglion cysts! It needs radio and surgery opinions too as few times immune system and secondary infections can lead to other complications! It need not to be rheumatoid arthritis.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
