What Causes Severe Knee Pain In An Elderly Person?

Good day. I am 52 years old. I am training everyday by running, rowing, skipping and light weights. I started getting knee pains, but not while i am training, afterwards. If i am sitting down, getting up is very painfull. I drink A LOT of sodawater(homemade) everyday. More than 2l. Can that maybe the cause of my problem?

Oncologist 's  Response
Hi,

Knee pain in the elderly can be caused by arthritis.

Would advise you to do a bone scan.

Also, take non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Monish De,
Oncologist
