Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am having severe left thigh pain for a week. It hurts to walk and I can t stand very long. My hands are swollen some and are achy. I have Sjögren s syndrome, and take methotrexate, 4 pills on tuesdays and 1 folic acid a day. I also take 1 500mg naproxen twice a day. I am having signs of RA, for a few years now, but have never had severe pain like this. I am 58 years old.
I would suggest you get a venous doppler of you thigh done so as to rule out DEEP VENOUS THROMBOSIS which is a common occurring in rheumatology patients. Thank you
Regards
Dr Hanif
